Career Summary

John Mark is a native of Western North Carolina and grew up at Lake Junaluska in Haywood County. After several successful years working for Marriott Corporation in Atlanta, he returned to the mountains he loves with the intention of starting his own business. That dream was realized when he opened his FASTSIGNS business in 1995. After twelve years of double-digit growth and many accolades, including national recognition, John Mark sold his business to focus on the commercial real estate investing he had been doing since 2000. John Mark is a commercial broker at Spake Real Estate and currently owns multiple commercial properties. His experience on both sides of the transaction lends a unique insight and the ability to create win-win solutions for the clients he represents.

Personal

John Mark and his wife Cindy have two spirited daughters, Madelyn and Jillian. He has been a private pilot since 2003 and currently owns a Glasair Sportsman, which he built himself in 2007. He is a member of Groce United Methodist Church in Asheville.
